Lace hemmed skirt DIY

Hey !

It often happens that when making a skirt, I end up cutting it slightly too short to be worn everyday… Bumping into a few pictures of shear/lace hemmed skirt on Lookbook gave me this DIY project idea, that allows you to quickly and stylishly lengthen any skirt you like.


For this you need one skirt (of any kind actually, this would work with a circle, ruffled or whatever skirt you like, more examples below), and matching transparent fabric.

…and below is the before/after pics, I realise it’s difficult to see the difference because of the falling light, I still need to improve my photography skills !
